Can I tell you a secret?

This isn’t my first blog post..I know, I know shocking but somewhere in my deep past way back in early high school I started a blog where I’d talk about my faith and maybe (I’m just guessing here but like) three people read it, haha! I loved being able to share my life with people but my blogging experience was zero to none and eventually as a 15 year old that came and went pretty darn quick with my blogging past. HOWEVER, I am happy to be back to blogging and sharing the in’s and out’s, the heart and soul of Root & Bloom with you.

Now into the GOOODDD stuff

For as long as I could remember I wanted to be an educator. I wanted to work with children whether that was in a classroom or overseas on a mission then fast forward to college all those dreams of being a teacher started to fade and shift to where the Lord was truly leading me all along. These other desires of pursing something creative but giving me the flexibility to stay home with my future children and be a wife fully and have to be pulled away from family life in a “9-5”. I wanted to set my own schedule, my own wages, create my own brand – something vulnerable and intimate. It’s taken lots of tears, long nights, busy days, research, education and lots of money but Root & Bloom has given me all that + much more.

Now don’t get me wrong there were times after becoming a mother + moving where throwing in the towel seemed easier but I realized the Lord gave me a gift. A gift of creativity to use for Him. To cultivate relationships, goodness + beauty in images. Having the ability to remind others that they are known, loved and seen – yes by me capturing precious moments I get to preserve for them but most importantly for the Heavenly Father.

With that said I invested in you (yes, you) I want to give you the best possible experience when coming to Root & Bloom whether I get the privilege to work with you or not. Although I hope that I do because I love meeting you guys, watching you growing, and learning your stories. So Root & Bloom got a makeover. Yep, she is rebranded my friends, head to toe and I am thrilled about it to say the very least!

When I started to think about the reason behind why I wanted to rebrand Root & Bloom or maybe a more accurate way to put it to solidify a brand for the first time was for YOU. I deeply desired to serve my followers and clients better, to up-level your and my experience and to know clearly and concisely who and what Root & Bloom stands for boldly. Earlier on in my business I would struggle (still do from time to time as I evolve and grow with the Lord in this business) with consistency on my brand. I realized I. was. limited. and I couldn’t achieve that on my own. The Lord had gifted others in an area where I lacked the expertise and knowledge and those very people were Alisabeth Designs and her incredible team of gals to bring my rebrand dreams come to fruit.

And today, I get to see a big vision and prayer come to life with my business that you all get the witness the fruit of it and I am so blessed + honored that YOU are here. I’ve been dreaming and dreaming my website design ever since I started with photography years ago but I struggled with achieve every intricate detail from colors, graphics, beautiful and cohesive layouts, the nitty gritty marketing details (and my one computer class freshman year of college did not suffice), intentional little incorporation of the things I love most like my home of ND and growing up with my family’s farming background, to my Catholic faith, my husband and little babes, the list goes on. I wanted to serve my clients to the fullest of extent I was capable of making them seen and taken care of start to finish

So, my hope for this new rebrand is that you leave truly loved, seen and valued. That you leave knowing the Lord has a deep immeasurable love for you, intimately and I, too can be a helping hand in preserving your life’s precious and dear milestones whether big or small in photographs.
