If Jesus is your best friend, you love warm weather, an unhealthy amount of lemonade, country indie folk music or a good ole adventure to name a few - I'd think we'd make great friends! If not, no need to fret you're valued and welcomed here, too!
hey there, I'm Sarah
When you support a photographer you aren’t JUST paying for a provided service or money to poured back into an expensive for the business for monthly software is need, updated gear, rentals, you name it. Although those things are a sliver of what that money does…
Often times I think the creative industry although it has become more popular in past few years isn’t taken seriously as a career or a means to “making a living”. We juggle many (many) different hats as creative entrepreneurs from photographing, editing, marketing, branding, website design, bookkeeping, accounting, traveling, etc and that’s only within our businesses. Some of us are students, spouses, parents, maybe have other occupations, the list goes on.
When you support a photographer you support their family, you help pay for gas, groceries, a home, a child education, insurances, clothes for their children, that long awaited + worked for family trip, a coffee date with a dear friend, piano lessons for their child, you name it. When you support a photographer, you support a dream. Yes, on the surface it may just seem like a dream of having a creative job one loves but it’s much bigger than that. A dream of making new authentic friendships of support for their family and loved ones even if it’s in a small way. A dream much larger than you and me.
